optoSiC was established in 2007 to service the photonics industry with state-of-the-art materials technology.

Our success comes from bringing together two cutting-edge technologies.

The first, SiC (Silicon Carbide), a material developed for the space industry, combined with the second, optoSiC GmbH's unique applied Know-How of optical laser scanner techniques and component technologies.

The specifically used optoSiC+ Silicon Carbide material enables a game-change in the laser scanner industry through its physical characteristics, performance and cost benefits.
